New Phone...

My phone broke the other day so work got me a new one. I've had it for a week and all I can say is... this thing is the shiz-nitz. :)

Virtual Reality using the Wii Remote

This video is to cool not to post. He hooks up a Wii remote to his PC and creates a VR demonstration that will knock your socks off. Can't wait to see the wave of games that will come from this technology.

It's alive...... oh wait

Got my Asteroids working yesterday afternoon. What an awesome feeling playing that old XY game again. It still lacked any sounds but was fun to play. Got the sound finally fixed and played a single game before the thing went bezerk.

Oh well... back into the operating room.

Games finally in gameroom

Well with the carpet finally down I managed to get a bunch of the games into the gameroom with the help of my brother, father-in-law and his backhoe. Beats lugging these things up a flight of stairs. :-)

No air-hockey or pool table yet but they'll be up there soon enough.

Installed the carpet in my gameroom this weekend. Overall I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

Passing of my big Sis...

For those of you who did not know, my sister Michelle Courchesne died suddenly Tuesday Night from a Brain Aneurysm.

First Computer System

Back in the mid 80's our family got its first home computer: The Coleco Adam.
I'm not sure what was cooler... the fact that it had a built-in Colecovision, or that we shared the same name.
